Floristry workshops 2023 / 2024
On our floral workshops, you will learn a variety of skills and receive expert guided instruction. Our classes are small and relaxed and aimed at the complete beginner. All materials and flowers are included as well as cakes and tea or coffee.

- Using seasonal flowers and colours
- Using floristry tape (para film)
- Conditioning and storing your flowers
- Suitable flowers for each design
- Wiring techniques
- Spiralling techniques
- Mossing
‘Learn how to make your wedding flowers’ – May 2023
On this workshop (part 1) you will learn a variety of skills, including wiring & spiralling techniques – by the end of the workshop you will have made wedding posy, a buttonhole and a corsage.

‘Flower Crown’ – August 2023
Using beautiful summer flowers, we will show you how to design and construct your own flower crown. Suitable for weddings, festivals and garden parties. This workshop is popular for hen parties, birthday parties and ‘team building’ days as well as for anyone wanting to learn about floristry and make some of their wedding flowers.

‘The perfect gift’ – September 2023
This is a creative workshop aimed at anyone interested in floristry and making their own floral gifts. Classes are informal and fun. Using a selection of colourful & seasonal flowers and foliage, you will learn how to make up a stylish handtied gift bouquet and gift wrap it like a pro. We will also demonstrate how to aqua pack the gift.

‘Floral jewellery’ – October 2023
On this workshop, you will design a delicate fresh floral necklace and matching bracelet, perfect for proms, parties and weddings or just for enjoyment.

‘Christmas door wreath’ – December 2023
Get into the Christmas spirit with this festive workshop.
Learn how to construct a beautiful fresh and fragrant door wreath using a selection of berries, cinnamon sticks, dried apple and orange slices, pine cones and season foliage, finish off your creation with a luxurious ribbon. We will also show you how to convert it into a table centre.

Large installation design – April 2024
This is a new workshop, where you will be part of a small team creating a 2m floral Boho archway. It’s ideal for anyone with some floristry experience that wants the opportunity to learn how to construct a large-scale design and add photos to their portfolio.

Vase arrangement workshop – June 2024
Vase arrangements are versatile and can be used to decorate many areas of the home/workplace. They make a lovely table centre or are equally impressive in a hallway, on a mantelpiece or on a windowsill.
All flowers and foliage are included.
