Spring 2012

We do many high profile corporate events each year and the University of Brighton is one of our oldest (since 2005.) The graduation event lasts for 3 days in the winter and 5 days in the summer, with award ceremonies held each day. We decorate the theatre stage at Brighton Dome with 10 metres of continuous cascading flowers. This year the first event was themed ‘spring’ and the colours were yellow blue with a touch of white. We used fragrant lilies, blue iris, yellow roses, purple statice and spray chrysanthemums. The university also hosts VIP lunches at the Royal Pavilion where we coordinated the table centres to compliment the main stage flowers. The Founders Room, bar and VIP dressing rooms are also decorated with the same flowers. See photos http://www.bloomsforbusiness.com/corporate-and-contracts-gallery/

We are now well into our wedding season, our first wedding of this year was mid February, again aptly themed ‘spring.’ For this the bride chose blue scented hyacinths, cream spray roses, white tulips, and purple lisianthus, the same flowers were used for her reception table centres and ceremony flowers – see photos at: http://www.bloomsforbusiness.com/weddings-gallery/

Other up and coming spring events include:-

The ‘Open University’ award ceremonies, ‘Martin Associates’ at the Grand Hotel in Brighton, ‘Brett Landscaping’ at South Lodge, Horsham and of course our many weekend weddings.
